An animated short film with a theme of greed. The characters are insects and the plot is staged around an atmosphere of hunger with a build up of bugs chasing after a single treat.
Procedural Animation explores the random generation of modular insects, the scattering and the gathering of bugs. A ‘snowball’ of bugs is also generated that trails a debris of bugs behind it as it bounces and collides into obstacles. The surface of the bug ball also comes to life as it’s covered with scurrying bugs.
